The TIS sensor has been trained on the set of human, mouse and rat 5'UTRs. Your input should look similar to this, with the most conserved dinucleotide AUG present at seventh, eighth and nineth consensus positions. FASTA id and comments may vary. Input might also be an ordinary FASTA file, similar to this. In this case all putative TIS will be scored with corresponding position of first nucleotide in AUG triplet placed after FASTA id. In this example TIS is located 50 nucleotides before the each sequence end. Expected input of the program is an mRNA sequence, a single-stranded molecule.
